“ loved my chicken salad sandwich. got delivery and it was perfect. and great service on the phone when i called with a tiny issue that was resolved immediately! ”
“ Spent a nice weekend morning walking around Southport and finally stopped in here to try and it was delicious. Nice casual vibes inside, and there was a fun selection of all kinds of jams, sauces, and other fun baking items for purchase. The breakfast we got was also delicious, with the breakfast sandwich being as tasty as can be and the bread pudding pancakes being a perfect savory bite to share. The sausage on the sandwich was delicious and it was light but filling. The bread pudding pancakes were so good but just note, they are a little dense. Maybe more cake-like compared to standard pancakes. But definitely worth getting. Really looking forward to going back. ”
“ Stopped in for a coffee and biscuit. The biscuit was so fresh and flaky was absolutely amazing. Coffee was your typical cold brew. Service was quick. ”
“ I am so happy that I finally went here! I had heard great things about the brunch at this café and had been dying to try it out. I went on a Sunday right before Christmas and there was no weight around 10:30. Typically, I hear that weekends are super crowded, but I think because of the holiday a lot of people had left the city. I got the quiche of the day which had mushrooms and artichoke. It was creamy, fluffy and super flavorful. It was served with a decent salad that had too many seeds for my liking. My friend got the hash bowl which I tasted and was very flavorful. We split the bread, pudding, pancakes, and I can see why people rave about these. Having just made bread pudding I can tell you that the consistency is exactly the same. It did not taste like a normal pancake because it was pretty chewy and dense. However, I would definitely come back to get these again or try other brunch items. The ambience is literally in a café and market where they sell different items. It's pretty small so I would recommend coming early if you want a seat. ”
“ Who knew mashed potatoes for breakfast would be my new favorite thing!! Lots of great brunch options with locally sourced, clean food - even for dairy and gluten free diets. No wait on a Saturday morning, even though it was bustling. Bottomless coffee was delicious as well. ”
“ Loved it! It was my first breakfast experience in the city! Service was excellent... friendly and professional. Payments are made at your table. I believe this place offers its own branded goods. I'll have to check it out next time. You have to try the grilled coffee cake! Very unique. The decor is modern, clean, and well lit with a lively clientele. Noise level is moderate. I hope to dine in the patio next time! Hot tip. On a busy day especially when is like a Mother's Day for example, it's best to make reservations. Otherwise your wait can be long. And like a lot of places, when it's super busy, service may suffer a tiny bit. ”
“ Great Food leads the way here! We shared our plates between the three of us. Starting with the Chopped Salad which was the best plate on the table, followed by the Hash which was a gluten free miracle meal... sooo good! Followed by the Brisket & Gravy with eggs and a biscuit, which was also delicious. The table vote was that the Salad was best followed by the Hash then the Brisket and Gravy. Next time we plan to get the Southport Cuban which was highly recommended. Service was great too. And the Chai and Coffee were both exceptional too! ”
“ Such a wonderful local gem! Everything here is delicious. I don't think they take reservations, but you can drop in, put your name on the list, stroll the shops on Southport and they'll text you when your table is ready. Great spot for gifts for a foodie - they have tons of local goodies, spices and mixes for sale. They also have a coffee and dessert bar if you want to grab some caffeine or a sweet treat. I had the daily quiche and it was flavorful and oh so fluffy and delicious! ”
“ Cute little spot for breakfast! Visiting friends of ours in the area and they took us here, as they've enjoyed it a few times before. Big fan of sitting outside, so I was glad to see their quaint patio out front. We sat at a four-top and we're not long greeted by the hostess with waters. They have the QR scanned menus so we browsed those until our server came to the table. She didn't seem at all excited to be there; we all noted it was fairly mundane service, which is kind of a bummer. Fear not though, the tasty drinks and eats outweighed the service! We started sharing a grilled coffee cake -- as recommended by our friends -- never had anything like this before, but dang it was tasty. A great item to share with the table. Loved the creamy middle, and the whole thing wasn't too sweet. I was a huge fan of the veggie quiche, which is made from-scratch and rotates in flavors. This one had asparagus and carrots, and I freakin' loved it. It came with a side of fresh fruit, and I went ahead and added thick-cut bacon because duh. It was super delicious. My husband wasn't a big fan of his chorizo & eggs dish, but hey at least one of us came out super satisfied! Didn't get a chance to go inside, but our friends said it's cute and quaint, offering tons of lovely grocery items and gifts! ”
